Yes…Chiru himself said this. He exposed his old friend Yuvasamrat Nagarjunas double standards. In a guest column in India Today(Nagarjuna Special), Chiru revealed this. According to that column, some three years back...Nag asked Chiru to enter politics and assured that he would fully support in his endeavour.
Chiru indirectly reminded the change of mind in Nagarjuna(you all know Nag is now Congress party star campaigner). In other way, chiru highlighted the backtracking of Nagarjuna, in a subdued manner.
Actually, Nagarjuna maintained a distance from politics all this time. In Several interviewes, he said that Politics was not his cup of tea. But he suddenly changed track and jumped into congress band wagon.
There are some strong reasons for this. Nagarjuna bought a site in Gokul plots located in one of the Hyderabads rich areas -Serilingampally mandal. But after the purchase it emerged as a disputed site. The site is of Rs.200crores value. Apart from that, a piece of land in Annapurna studio(it is also 7 acres) was also in dispute. As the studio management is not using the land, the government demands to surrender it, which was given to Akkineni to develop infrastructure. So to regularise both these two sites, which is of Rs.500crores value approximately, Dharmavarapu Subhramanyam, made a deal between Nag and Congress party. Congress party will see that Government will regularize both these lands and in reciprocation, Nag have to campaign for Congress. Nagarjuna yielded to this offer and started campaigning for Congress.
Chiru, that is politics...Try to learn the tricks of this new trade.
